Bangladesh's 22nd new president took oath today

Congratulations to our new president of Bangladesh

His Excellency Mohammad Sahabuddin Ahmed was sworn in as the 22nd new President of Bangladesh today on April 24, 2023.

Earlier, outgoing former President and Speaker Mohammad Abdul Hamid successfully completed his second consecutive term as President.

The new President Sahabuddin was a senior politician advisor and freedom fighter of the current Bangladesh Awami League and today the government leaders and ministers including the Honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina were present at Ganabhaban.

Honorable Speaker of the present Parliament Dr. Sharmin Shirin administered the oath to the new President.
