Why Access Control Turnstiles Are Used

This Access Control Turnstile is a security system that is used to determine the number of people who must pass through a border.

It is generally used in public places, such as high-rise buildings, stadiums, bus stations, railway stations, etc.

An access control turnstile is commonly used as an entrance indicator to a space.  It is associated with a swipe card, barcode, fingerprint or other credentials and requires the user to present their credentials to open the entrance.

And usually turnstiles are made for a single entrance, so that only one user can enter at a time.

Although the control turnstile is an automated system, its use depends on the facility and requirements of an organization.  This system is mostly used for the following purposes.



Access Control: By using access control turnstiles the access control of the organization can be made easy and secure.  People will be kept out and never crossed without any permission.

Data protection: Security of collected data can be considered using access control system.  User information is stored when the portal is opened and permission is granted using that information when necessary.

Presence Management: Office attendance of the organization's officials can be managed using access control turnstiles.  The system can collect attendance information and store the related information during entry and exit of the employees of the organization.

It can present reports regarding attendance and absence of officers on a given time basis.

Entrance log: Access control turnstiles can be used to log the entrance.  When the establishment's entrance is opened, user information, opening hours and other information are logged which can be used for later monitoring.
