How to make CCTV record USB input output
The most common way to record any CCTV camera is to use a USB storage device (such as a USB flash drive). This way you can save the videos you record from your camera and view them later on Windows or other devices.
To record CCTV can follow the following procedure:
First, connect your camera and DVR / NVR USB storage device. If you are using a USB flash drive, you can connect it to a USB port on the camera.
Now go to camera menu option and find recording settings. Settings may have different names based on your camera model.
In the recording settings, you need to select a medium. Here you need to select your USB storage device. After that it is usually available as an option that tells you to use it as the default storage medium.
Now the camera can start recording. Before starting video recording, make sure your CCTV camera is set up to save video.
When the recording is finished, the recording will be saved from the camera to the USB storage device. You can now connect this USB device to the computer to view the recording videos on it and use it for useful purposes.
Note, this system may vary based on your camera model. Collect instructions for more details on your particular camera model.
