What is resistor in electronics and its working in detail



A resistor is a common element in electronics that is used to divert constant alternating current. Resistors are generally made up of mixtures of different electrical components.  Because of this it is used as a competitive ingredient.



The main function of a resistor is to divert and prevent current flow.  It is used as a constant element which diverts current by waiting for a certain value of error or error.

This means that a resistor provides resistance to divert a certain current.  The resistance of a resistor is specified in terms of amps (Ohm's).



Below is an example to get a detailed idea about the working of a resistor:

A resistor is visible above the figure.  A description is written on the resistor, "R = 220 Ohm".  This means that the resistance value of this resistor is 220 ohms.  The resistance value of a resistor is expressed in numbers, whose unit is ohm (Ω).  So a 220 ohm resistor means its resistance value is 220 ohms.



The main function of a resistor is to divert and prevent current flow.  When current flows through a resistor, the value of current flowing through it depends on the specific resistance.  If the resistance of the resistor is large, the current will be low and if the resistance is small, the current will be high.

Resistors have various uses in making electronic equipment.  Some examples are given below:

Use of resistance: Resistance to current flow is controlled using resistors.  For example, a resistor connected to an LED light is used to control the resistance flowing through the LED.



Control of active and carrier: Control of active and carrier current is done using resistors.It controls the resistance or flow of the carrier by creating resistance especially with high current.

And Control of Amplification: Control of current flow in amplifier and transistor structures using resistors.  It is used for many purposes.
