Know what faith is and why
Know what faith is and why
Faith is an Arabic word. It literally means to believe in something unseen.
And the terminological meaning is, the visible world and all the creatures in it, such as humans, demons, planets, stars, moon, sun, sea, ocean, animals, mountains, valleys, plants, insects, insects, flowers, fruits, In a word, to have firm faith in the Lord of all that we see or feel and the Creator of His creation. Verbal confession, belief in the heart and its implementation in personal life is called faith.
What does a Muslim need to reflect this precious resource in his personal or real life? Or what it depends on, our beloved Prophet Hazrat Rasul Akram (pbuh) has beautifully presented it to us.
He said:
That is:- Faith vs Islam Religion is well founded on five foundations. Jata-
1. Testifying that there is no god but Allah. And certainly, Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) is the chosen and sent Messenger of Allah.
2. Establishing prayer means (establishing the bonds of worship in individual life as well as in social life).
3. Paying zakat (i.e. making reparations for Mali Ibadahs).
4. Fasting for a full month during the holy month of Ramadan.
And it is evident that the basic foundation of faith and Islam is established on the basis of surrendering and obeying the Creator Allah and His Messenger (PBUH) and obeying the commands and prohibitions. In this most beautiful world, all the creations of Allah, such as the moon, the sun, the planets, the stars, the animals, the birds, the trees, the mountains, the rivers, all belong to Allah.
Confessing unity and being guided by His guidance.
Therefore, we humans, why leave the direction of his path and go astray? If we follow the path indicated by him, we will possess the priceless wealth of faith and Islam.
And it is our absolute duty to act accordingly.
The first foundation of Islam is Iman or faith, the word Iman is used in the Holy Qur'an to express two different meanings.
First opinion: Iman does not mean anything other than uttering the words of faith in Allah and the Messenger (PBUH).
Second: There must be a heart connection with this basic recognition and the content of faith must be realized in action.
The meaning of the word (Iman) used in the Qur'an is to accept the truth verbally, or to sincerely accept it, or to perform good deeds, or to combine these three. But in almost all cases it has been recognized that faith is not perfected without the practical realization of it.
The opinion of Imam Malik, Ahmad and Shafi'i (RA):
That is:- Faith is the name of sincere belief, verbal recognition and turning it into action. In short, Iman means belief, the creator of the universe is Allah Ta'ala, the sky-earth, moon-sun, planets-satellites, plants-plants, humans-monsters, animals-animals, mountains-mountains, rivers-channels, etc. He is everything that exists. The Creator, He is the Director and Sustainer of all things.
Life and death, creation and destruction happen at His will, whatever He wills, He created the human race to represent Him in the world. To guide people to the right path, the Prophet has chosen the Prophet to find the truth and give the direction of light and sent revelations to them through angels.
This life is temporary, at the end of the specified period, everyone has to leave the illusion of this world and return to Allah through death, and will be resurrected after death. Then everyone will have to gather in Hashar Maidan to give an account of all the sins and virtues of this life. He will reward the righteous and punish the sinners. The name of believing in all these things and many more related to them is our faith.
