How does a circuit breaker work?
The circuit breaker operates
A circuit breaker is a special type of electrical device that operates inside a power circuit and protects the circuit with an unbalanced current value or load.
When it's security is upset due to excessive current value in a circuit or load of the chair, the circuit breaker operates and closes the circuit automatically, stopping the current value.
Circuit breaker operation can be determined in two main ways:
And Thermal Trip: This type of circuit breaker closes its circuit breaker when the temperature is high or due to excess current value. It uses a thermal element to determine the temperature and current value.
Magnetic trips: This type of circuit breaker closes its circuit breaker due to excess current value when a magnetic impulse is high.
Circuit breakers ensure the protection of these circuits and prevent damage to highly critical parts of the circuit due to excessive current values or short circuit loads.
The detailed mechanism of circuit breaker works as follows:
eg circuit breaker closed state: circuit breaker is in the original closed state of the circuit when no fault is created in the circuit. This condition is given during quiescence of the circuit.
Circuit Breaker Operation: When an excess current value or a fault occurs in the circuit, the thermal overload relay of the circuit breaker and the magnetic impulse interrupt the circuit breaker.
Preparing to close the circuit breaker: If an excess surge occurs in the circuit, the temperature of the thermal coil or the magnetic impulse is high, the circuit breaker closes it and interrupts the current value from the circuit.
Circuit Breaker Trip Preparation: In this condition, the circuit breaker closes the circuit breaker and clearly indicates to the user that a fault has occurred in the circuit. The breaker prepares to trip the safety from this condition and must operate to restart the circuit.
Circuit breakers ensure the safety and security of the circuit with this equipment and determine the readiness of the circuit from excessive increase in power level. These circuit breakers can have different types and working mechanisms and are used in different types of electrical circuits.
